The Pays de Thann is an attractive region for bike enthusiasts.
The cycle path long the vineyards and the river Thur, the paths in the forest - the Pays de Thann offers rich and various possibilities for bicycle or mountain bike.
Mountain Back Trails
Since a few years, the community of communes of the Pays de Thann in collaboration with the community of communes of Saint-Amarin and the tourist office of Cernay put marked mountain bike trails in place.
19 tours permit you to discover the Thur valley and for the sportsmen, the "Thur Tour" of a distance of 125 km with a difference in level of 3750 m. It will permit you to discover the both sides of the valley (not available at the moment).
Bicycle Paths
The Thur Tour: From Vieux-Thann to the High Thur Valley, you will see the slopes of the Rangen vineyards and run alongside the river Thur. You will arrive in Bitschwiller-lès-Thann and in Willer-sur-Thur; the cycling tour goes as far as the Kruth Wildenstein lake (around 25 km).
