Winter sports
Within a radius from 20 to 50 km, you will have the pleasure of ski in the skiing areas of Markstein-Grand Ballon, Thannerhubel, Frenz or Ballon d'Alsace, or in the skiing areas in the Vosges like Bussang, Ventron, La Bresse and Gerardmer.
You will have the possibility to practice alpine skiing, cross country skiing and walks with snowshoes.

Snowshoe
During the winter season and according to the snow coverage, the tourist office of Soultz - Guebwiller suggests you snowshoe walks to the Grand Ballon, flanked by qualified mountain guides (diploma of mountain climbing).
Alpine skiing
The skiing area of the Grand Ballon permits to ski and at the same time you will have beautiful panoramas on the Alsace plain, the Black Forest and the Alps.

Cross-country skiing
Situated in the Regional Natural Park of the « Ballons des Vosges », the Grand Ballon zone of cross-country skiing with more than 70 km of marked runs permits you to join the ski resort « Markstein », offering beautiful panoramas and wide views on the Vosges massif and its valleys.
